About Alison
I grew up in Goffstown, NH, and moved to Concord in 2007, after I graduated from college at UVM. I met my wife, Alyssa, and her two kids in 2010 and Alyssa and I have been married for 11 years. We chose to raise the kids in Concord because of its strong community. There’s access to services, great schools, and recreation, all within the city. Alyssa and I opened Penumbra, a plant and gift shop in 2020. We now have two locations, in Concord and Goffstown. Being a part of those two different communities has been a pleasure. I have also worked for nonprofits doing fundraising and program management.

Why I'm Running
I have always cared about politics and what’s going on in our state. I’ve participated to the best of my ability - emailing my elected officials, attending rallies, and educating myself as much as I can. When the opportunity arose to run for State Rep, it felt like the right time to increase my role in NH’s future. This is my first time running for elected office, and I look forward to serving in the State House. I believe NH can be a place where communities are strong, equitable, and sustainable, and I’m excited to be a part of that future.
